Full description
Day Old is a daily AI news brief: one short recap of yesterday's artificial intelligence news, in plain English, read in about two minutes. Made for normal people, not AI researchers. Not a feed. Not 40 open tabs and a vague sense of dread. Call it 2 minute news: one read a day, then on with your life. Here is the trick in the name. Day Old is a day old on purpose. We wait for the dust to settle, skip the hot takes that aged badly by dinner, and tell you what actually mattered. Yesterday's news, minus yesterday's panic. WHAT YOU GET One daily AI news brief of around 400 words. Real prose, written like a friend explaining it, not a pile of links pretending to be journalism. A TL;DR at the top: three or four punchy highlights for when you have ten seconds instead of two minutes. The source articles behind the brief, one tap away, opening right inside the app so you never lose your place. A streak, because being informed is more fun with a scoreboard. There is a grace day built in for when life happens. A Stats page with your day streak, your longest streak, how many days you have stayed informed, and how you are tracking this week. A share card for your streak, plus a link to that day's edition on the web so anyone can read it without the app. Save anything for later. It stays on your device. Light mode, dark mode, and a daily reminder you can set to whatever time your brain switches on. HOW YOU USE IT Open the app. Read the AI digest. Close the app. That is the entire product. On Android, turn on daily push and the new AI news digest comes to you, or add the home screen widget so today's read is waiting before you even tap in. No infinite scroll, no algorithm studying your weaknesses, no 11pm alert about a chatbot update. THINGS WE DO NOT DO No account. No sign up. No email address. Open it and read. Saved items live on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere. Usage stats are anonymous and optional. Never your identity. We are not trying to keep you in the app. Two minutes and you are out. WHO IT IS FOR People who want to keep up with AI without making it a personality. If you have ever nodded along to a conversation about a model you had never heard of, this one is for you. Day Old. Yesterday's AI news, on purpose.
