Your community's safety deserves more than a WhatsApp group. Buzzer is the community safety app trusted by 70,000+ South Africans in 20+ communities, from Cape Town to Stellenbosch and Gauteng. Tap SOS and your live location goes to nearby neighbours and to the vetted responders your community has chosen. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PRESS SOS 1. Tap the SOS panic button. 2. Buzzer users nearby who have opted in to help are alerted with your live location. 3. If your community routes alerts to its responders, your SOS goes straight to their control room. 4. Everyone responding gets live updates on the incident. FEATURES • Emergency SOS: one tap sends your live location to your community and responders. • Incident reporting: report incidents, medical, wildlife and municipal incidents. Each one is routed to the right desk and recorded. • Alerts for your places: get alerts near home, work or school, from 250 m up to 10 km around each place. • SafeTrack: get notified when family arrive home, at school or at granny's. They can keep their live location private. • Community broadcasts: verified safety updates from your community champions, without the WhatsApp group noise. FREE TO USE Buzzer is free to download and use. Some communities charge a membership fee, which they set themselves, to fund their local responders and safety initiatives. Communities can also offer members national armed response and emergency medical cover, delivered by vetted response providers.
