Full description
Calendar notifications are easy to miss. A quiet ping, a banner you swipe away — and ten minutes later you're the person joining late. Ahem bridges that gap: it reads your device calendar and rings a real alarm before your events, automatically. Set it up once, then stop thinking about it. That's the whole point — less stress, not more productivity theater. HOW IT WORKS • Ahem watches the calendars you choose (Google, Exchange — anything synced to your device) • New events get an alarm automatically, with the lead time you set (e.g. 10 minutes before) • The alarm is a full-screen, sounding alarm — not a notification. It wakes the screen, plays over the lock screen, and keeps ringing until you act BUILT FOR RELIABILITY • Uses Android's alarm-clock priority (the same mechanism as your wake-up alarm) • Alarms survive device reboots — even a restart overnight while the phone is still locked • A built-in reliability self-check warns you if your device's battery settings could interfere • Time-zone and daylight-saving aware STAYS OUT OF YOUR WAY • Choose which calendars to track, silence, or ignore • Per-calendar quiet hours, vacation mode, and pause • Keyword rules: auto-ignore "tentative" placeholders, get prompted to pause for "vacation" events • Recurring events are recognized as series — set one lead time for the whole series • Quick-set an alarm straight from the new-event notification MAKE IT YOURS • 20 hand-picked alarm tones, or use your own • Gentle visual pre-phase before the sound starts, so a glance is enough • Vibration patterns, per-alarm customization, snooze and auto-snooze • Dark-first design that's easy on groggy eyes PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account. No sign-up. No ads. • Your calendar never leaves your device — Ahem has no server and sends nothing anywhere • Read-only calendar access PRICING Free for 90 days — every feature, no card required. After the trial, a subscription unlocks creating and editing alarms. Alarms you already set always keep ringing. Ahem: the polite little nudge that gets you to the meeting on time.

What's new

• Tapping a new-event notification opens the event in your calendar, ready to set an alarm. • Ahem notices events you arm the same way and offers to make a rule for them. • On the ringing screen, Dismiss and Snooze stay in place when the phone rotates.
