VelvetPlan

Most flashcard apps make you decide what to study. VelvetPlan decides for you, then gets out of the way. Every card sits on a six-box ladder. Recall a card and it climbs to a longer interval — one day, three, a week, sixteen days, five weeks. Miss it and it drops back to the start. You only ever see the cards that are actually ready, which is why a full session usually takes a few minutes instead of an evening. WHAT YOU GET ON DAY ONE Eight decks and forty-eight cards are already loaded, so there is nothing to import before your first session: Spanish (A2 words), Capitals, Anatomy 101, Music Theory, Chemistry Basics, Design Terms, Astronomy, and Idioms & Phrases. BUILD YOUR OWN Create a deck, pick its accent colour, and add cards with a prompt, an answer, and an optional hint. Edit or delete anything later. Reset a deck's progress when you want a clean run at it. FOUR-WAY GRADING Again, Hard, Good, Easy — each button shows exactly when that choice brings the card back, so you always know what you are choosing. Cards you keep missing come back tomorrow; cards you own disappear for weeks. TUNE THE QUEUE Set how many never-seen cards enter each run, cap the run length, shuffle or keep the oldest-due-first order, hide hints, flip the prompt direction to drill answers back to prompts, or turn on an auto-reveal timer. SEE WHETHER IT IS WORKING A mastery gauge on the home screen tracks how much of your library has reached the long intervals. A weekly chart splits every day into recalled and missed. An accuracy trend shows whether you are improving. An interval ladder shows exactly how your cards are distributed across the six boxes. Streaks and lifetime totals sit on your profile, alongside eight achievements tied to real progress — not participation. COMPLETELY OFFLINE No account. No sign-in. No sync. No ads. No analytics. No network requests at all. Your decks, cards, and review history live in a private database on your device and never leave it. VelvetPlan works the same in airplane mode as it does on wifi. BUILT FOR SHORT SESSIONS Set a daily card goal you can actually keep. The home screen shows what is due, what is new, how far into today's goal you are, and which decks need attention — then hands you one button to start. Good for language vocabulary, medical and anatomy terms, music theory, exam revision, professional certifications, or anything else you would rather remember than look up.
