THE EXPERIMENT: Christian Moncuso, an experienced full-stack software engineer, decided to build a custom-coded web app with nothing more than command line. The experiment was to build a web app with uniquely hack-proof coding methodologies, including not using any third-party IDEs nor relying on graphic user interfaces such as PHPMyAdmin and cPanel. He used no javascript, nor frameworks that use javascript-based (nor similar types of front-end languages) to ensure reliable database interactions with page refreshes. He used only HTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL to build this web app with 100% custom design and coding. The exceptions are that he utilized APIs from Stripe and Apple to collect billing and subscription information via webhooks and App Store Server Notifications with custom coded logic for integration with the databases. He utilized PHPMailer, typically available in Linux package managers, to test email address existence and deliverability of customer email addresses, and to send emails. He later added ClickMeeting API for scheduling classes and webinars with unique access tokens for each attendee. Aside from these APIs, all code was custom coded using just PHP/SQL, HTML, and CSS with his custom logic and coding methodologies, including the integration with these APIs, and without any third-party code-producing support, such as AI and human. The final exception is the nutrition label design that is a standard format, obtained from online resources. The hope was to provide a web app experience that would provide the same look and feel as a modern web app without using any of the layered technologies, and even excluded the use of image files. Utilizing webview technology, Christian added the web app to Apple App Store and Google Play compatible apps with additional coding methodologies that are his proprietary logic that implement perhaps the most impenetrable mobile app pattern login system, that he designed without javascript, and just HTML and CSS. The pattern login system prevents persons that have broken into phones and into biometrics to hack into the app, since only the user's email and a unique key is stored on the device, rather than any way to obtain the passcode to enter. The cashflow tracker and budgeting utility, and select other features that may have sensitive user data, utilizes a custom encoding/decoding methodology for private notes that while preventing massive database inserts, provides encoding/decoding that requires having access to various areas of the server to obtain the encoding/decoding algorithm and keys for each entry. This web app is very much an experiment, that provides diversity of coding methodologies, and provides a unique web app experience that uses just HTML, CSS, PHP/SQL, to provide a reliable, basic, and pure experience, without unnecessary "smoke and mirrors" to provide the key value offerings of the web app. Perhaps it is for you, and you can try it 100% free without commitments. AI is not involved in the production of the sample diet plans. Christian produced the logic and foods that provide the daily sample nutrition plans to be used as a foundation. He recommends eating fresh, and selecting foods at as much of the "ingredient" level as possible.
