WPM Pro: Typing Speed Coach

WPM Pro: Typing Speed Coach gives you an exact, honest number for how fast you type. Run a timed typing speed test, read your net WPM, gross WPM and accuracy, and see roughly how you compare with other typists before a job typing test. It is made for people who need a real score: job applicants, data entry staff, students facing a typing exam, or anyone who wants proof that practice is making them faster. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose a length: 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds, or any custom time from 10 seconds up to 10 minutes. 2. Choose the material: common words, numbers, punctuation, paragraphs, texts you paste yourself, or a long exam. 3. Type. The clock starts on your first keystroke and your score appears the moment time runs out. A SCORE THAT HOLDS UP • Net WPM counts only the words you got right; gross WPM counts everything you typed. Both follow the usual five-characters-per-word convention. • Every word is checked on its own, so a typo costs that one word and a missed or doubled space does not shift the rest of the line into errors. • Each result also lists accuracy, error count, characters typed and time taken. • A percentile line estimates what share of typists you are faster than, and you get a clear note when you beat your personal best. COACHING FROM YOUR OWN NUMBERS • Each day WPM Pro sets a target at 90% of your best speed. Hit it in a test of 30 seconds or longer with at least 90% accuracy to complete the day. • A trend line compares your average with the week before, so you know whether your routine is paying off. • Charts plot speed and accuracy over your last 30 tests, tests per day for the past two weeks, and a 12-week activity map. GET READY FOR A TYPING EXAM Exam mode gives you a long passage in plain text with no colour hints, much like a printed or supervised test (10 minutes on the free plan). Paragraph mode uses full sentences similar to employment typing tests, and Numbers mode drills digits and long figures for data entry roles. Badges mark milestones such as 40 WPM "Office ready", then 60, 80 and 100 WPM at 90% accuracy, 98% accuracy over a minute, and completing an exam of 5 minutes or more. TIME YOURSELF ON THE TEXT THAT MATTERS • Paste a sample exam, a report or a script into My texts (20 characters minimum) and get timed on exactly that. • Built-in passages and word lists in English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese and Hindi. • Bluetooth and USB keyboards are supported. Rotating the screen or connecting a keyboard during a test keeps your progress. • Optional live WPM readout, and an optional short vibration whenever you press a wrong key. SHARE A RESULT CARD Send an image of your WPM, accuracy and percentile to a colleague or a group chat. Scores are self-assessment estimates, not an official typing certificate. PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN WORDS • Internet: to load ads, to process Google Play purchases and to send anonymous usage and crash statistics. • Vibration: only for the optional wrong-key buzz. The app does not use an accessibility service, screen overlays, contacts, files or location. ADS AND PREMIUM The free version is supported by ads, which never appear on the typing screen or the result screen. Premium is optional and comes as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. It removes all ads, keeps your full history beyond 7 days with CSV export for spreadsheets, lets you save unlimited texts instead of 3, and unlocks custom exams from 5 to 30 minutes with backspace locking and colour hints on or off. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. PRIVACY No account and no sign-up. Results, streaks and pasted texts are kept only on your device and are never uploaded. What you type is not sent anywhere. Where the law requires it, you are asked for ad consent first. Set a baseline today and let WPM Pro show you how much faster you are next week.
