IOweU

Forgot who owes what? IOweU is the free IOU & debt tracker for friends, couples, roommates and families. Track money owed, borrowed items, favors, tasks and chores — and let either side create the IOU. More than just an expense splitter. Unlike a typical expense splitter or debt tracker, IOweU handles every kind of IOU. You paid for a friend's drinks? Create an IOU. Someone borrowed your drill? Create an IOU. Your kid needs to clean the kitchen? Create an IOU — with an optional reward. 🔄 HOW IT WORKS 1. Create — Add an IOU for money owed, a borrowed item, a favor, or a task. Make it personal with a photo or animated GIF. 2. Share — Send it inside IOweU and the other person gets notified instantly and can respond — or share via any messaging app. Changed your mind? Withdraw, change and resubmit. 3. Resolve — The other side can accept, reject, or propose changes. When done, settle or waive the IOU. ⭐ WHAT MAKES IOweU DIFFERENT ✅ More than money — track items, favors, tasks, and chores ✅ Either side creates the IOU — no waiting on the other person ✅ Full IOU lifecycle — accept, reject, withdraw, propose changes, reassign (or transfer) to someone else ✅ Optional rewards on tasks and chores ✅ Push notifications on every update ✅ Photos and animated GIFs ✅ Share in-app with instant push notifications — or via any messaging app 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 PERFECT FOR FAMILIES Parents assign chores with optional rewards. Kids can propose their own chores and suggest a reward. On completion, the reward automatically becomes a new IOU. A simple chore app and reward system built into one flow. 💡 WHO USES IOweU • Friends — never chase a tenner again.
