Full description
Tethys is a private journal that keeps your writing where it belongs: on your device. No data leaves the app. No accounts. No statistics. Nothing. That also means Tethys is fast, responsive and robust. No suspicious pauses where your journal might be talking to a server somewhere. Your private thoughts are not being shared with anyone. Keep your journal secured from prying eyes using the same authentication that keeps your device locked. When the lock is in your way - while copying over text from elsewhere on your device, say - suspend it temporarily with a simple press. Simple, minimalist and neat. Make your journal your own with a selection of fonts, configurable text sizes, pen and paper colours, and even adjustable line spacing. Give each entry a status to keep track of everything from rough thoughts to polished memories. Proper search. Tethys shows you the relevant part of each matching entry, with your search term highlighted. See at a glance which result you were looking for. Browse your journal by calendar for easy access to earlier entries. Your journal is yours, so getting your writing out of Tethys is straightforward too. Create backups within the app for peace of mind, or save a backup to your Download folder when moving to another device. And if you'd rather keep your writing long-term in a completely independent format, export as many entries as you like to a simple text file. We do understand. :)
