GroupEd Parent & Carer brings your child's school into one friendly app. Read messages and news, report an absence, book parent and carer evening appointments, pay for trips and clubs, and keep an eye on attendance, all in one place. The app is for parents and carers at schools that use GroupEd. Your school sets up your account, so you sign in with the email address the school holds for you. If you are not sure whether your school uses GroupEd, ask the school office. The app is for adults, not for pupils. MESSAGES AND NEWS Read messages from school and reply to them. Unread messages are easy to spot, and a home screen widget shows what is waiting. School news arrives with its photos and letters, and the calendar shows term dates, training days and events. REPORT AN ABSENCE Let the school know your child is off, choose a reason and add the details. For an appointment you can add a photo of the appointment card or letter. If you have more than one child, you can report them all in one go. YOUR CHILDREN See each child's attendance for today and for the year so far, their timetable, exam timetable and subject options, and the achievements and behaviour records the school shares with you. TRIPS, CLUBS AND PAYMENTS Give consent for trips and activities, book club sessions and tickets, top up lunch money, buy from the school shop and pay securely by card. Your payments and orders are kept together in one list. PARENT AND CARER EVENING Choose a time with each teacher, see your bookings at a glance and add them to your calendar. MORE THAN ONE SCHOOL If your children go to different GroupEd schools, switch between them from the top of the screen. MADE FOR EVERY FAMILY Use the app in English, Cymraeg or 19 other languages. If you choose a language other than English or Welsh, school news, activities and calendar events can be translated on your phone. There is a dark mode, support for larger text, and an optional app lock that uses your fingerprint, face or phone PIN. Notifications let you know when the school sends you a message or news. Which features you see depends on what your school has switched on. YOUR PRIVACY Photos and files are sent to the school only when you choose to send them. Your profile photo stays on your phone. Translations are made on your phone, so the school's text is not sent anywhere to be translated.
