Hide a phone. Hunt it down. Treasure Hunt is an offline multiplayer party game that turns your phones into a hot-and-cold detector — no WiFi, no mobile data, no accounts. One player hides a phone somewhere in the house. Everyone else hunts for it. The hidden phone gives itself away over Bluetooth, and every hunter's screen shows how close they are — cold, cool, warm, hot, BURNING UP — right up to the moment someone finds it. The rest hunt. The detector reads the hidden phone's Bluetooth signal and turns it into distance you can feel: a ring that tightens, a sound that rises, a pulse that quickens as you close in. Tap two phones together to confirm a find, or let the hidden player say yes. Rounds are short. Roles swap every round. First to the winning score takes it. A PARTY GAME FOR MIXED AGES A seven-year-old and an adult can play the same round fairly. Per-player handicaps widen or narrow the zones so the youngest hunter is not simply beaten every time, and hiding time adjusts for whoever needs it. It is a family game, an indoor game for a rainy afternoon, and a party game for a room full of people. PERFECT WHEN THERE IS NO SIGNAL No WiFi games are hard to find. Treasure Hunt was built to be one. The game never needed a connection, so it works on a plane, in a basement, in the countryside, or anywhere the signal has given up. With no signal you simply get no advert and carry on playing. ADS, AND HOW TO BE RID OF THEM A short advert can appear when a round ends — never during one. Every advert can be closed after five seconds. Because this is a game made for families, the adverts are non-personalized: no interest-based targeting, no remarketing, and nothing rated above G. One purchase removes them completely and permanently, for this Google account, on every device you sign in to. Not fewer adverts — none. The price is shown in your own currency inside the app, under Settings. HONEST ABOUT PRIVACY • No accounts, no sign-in, no email address • The game itself sends nothing anywhere. Rounds, scores, pairing and the detector are pure Bluetooth and stay on your phones • It never uses your location. The Bluetooth scan is declared with Android's neverForLocation flag, which makes that a fact rather than a promise • Player names never go out over the airwaves. Phones looking for nearby games see a random four-character room code and nothing else • Google's advertising system is the one part that uses the network, and only to fetch an advert. Buy the ad-free upgrade and it is never started at all Everything the game knows stays on your phone. Uninstalling it takes all of it with you. PRACTICE ALONE FIRST A single-phone practice mode lets you learn what the detector feels like before you round up everybody else. Gather two phones and someone to play with. That is the whole setup.
