Tank Buddy

Tired of Guessing Your Fuel on Your Motorcycle? Ride with Confidence with Tank Buddy! For many passionate motorcyclists, the thrill of the open road is often accompanied by a nagging worry: "How much fuel do I actually have left?" Unlike cars, many older motorcycles lack a reliable fuel gauge, leaving riders to rely on often inaccurate trip meters or simply a gut feeling. This can lead to unnecessary anxiety, unexpected stops, and even potentially dangerous situations. Introducing Tank Buddy: Your Smart, Distance-Based Motorcycle Fuel Tracker! Tank Buddy is the innovative solution designed specifically for motorcyclists who want to know their fuel level with accuracy and ease. By leveraging the power of your smartphone and a simple Bluetooth or WiFi beacon (or your motorcycle's Wireless Android Auto connection), Tank Buddy takes the guesswork out of fuel management, allowing you to focus on what truly matters – the joy of the ride. How Tank Buddy Works: Tank Buddy utilizes a smart and intuitive system to estimate your remaining fuel based on the distance you've travelled since your last fill-up. Here's a step-by-step breakdown: Seamless Beacon Connection: Simply pair Tank Buddy with a small, low-energy Bluetooth or WiFi beacon that you place on your motorcycle. Alternatively, if your motorcycle supports it, you can connect via Wireless Android Auto. This connection allows the app to reliably detect when you're on your bike and ready to ride. Automatic Distance Tracking: Once the beacon is in range, Tank Buddy intelligently uses your phone's location services to accurately measure the distance you travel during your ride. Don't worry, the app is designed to be battery-efficient and only tracks when you're actively riding. Your Motorcycle's Fuel Capacity: The first time you use Tank Buddy, you'll easily input your motorcycle's fuel tank capacity in either miles or kilometers. This crucial information allows the app to calculate your estimated fuel consumption. Customizable Warning Levels: You have complete control over when you receive fuel alerts. Set your preferred warning level (e.g., 25% remaining) and a critical level (e.g., 10% remaining). Timely Notifications: When your estimated fuel level reaches your predefined warning or critical thresholds, Tank Buddy will issue a notification to your smartphone. You can choose between standard visual notifications and convenient spoken alerts, ensuring you're always aware of your fuel status without having to take your eyes off the road. Take control of your fuel management and enjoy the open road with the confidence that Tank Buddy has your back. Whether you're a daily commuter or a weekend adventurer, Tank Buddy is the essential companion for any motorcyclist whose bike lacks a fuel gauge. We hope you enjoy the ride with Tank Buddy!
