Provision: Emergency Store

Most people have no idea how long they could keep going in a power cut, a water outage or a blackout, or if they had to leave the house. Provision is an emergency preparedness app that answers that in a number. Add what you already own — the tins in the cupboard, the bottled water under the stairs, the gas canister in the shed. Scan a barcode or type a name. Provision counts your emergency stockpile against the people you actually feed, not a national average, and tells you how many days you have. It counts the thing that runs out first. A fortnight of food and two days of water is two days. That is exactly the sort of thing worth knowing in advance. WHAT IT DOES • Counts emergency food storage, water and fuel separately, in days • Works out what to buy next — the thing that moves the number most, for the least money • Tracks expiry dates and tells you before things go off • Scans barcodes • A preparedness checklist with the reason attached, so it reads as advice rather than a shopping list • Sends your dates to your calendar • Exports everything you have entered, whenever you want it Built for households in the UK, whether you call it a prepper store, a stockpile, a pantry inventory or just the cupboard under the stairs. It is a home inventory for the week the shops and the sockets stop working. FREE COVERS THE WHOLE THING The store, the readiness figure, the shopping list, barcode scanning, the calendar feed and getting your data back out. No trial and no countdown. PROVISION PLUS • Situations — the same shelf judged against a power cut, a water outage, or leaving on foot • A go bag — a second 72 hour kit measured against three days away from home, kept separate from the house • Nutrition — protein, fat, carbs and salt per day from your actual shelf, not just calories Plus is £9.99 a year, £1.49 a month, or £24.99 once for life. Payment is taken by Google Play. A subscription renews unless you turn it off at least a day before the period ends; manage or cancel it in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions. The lifetime purchase never renews. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS Provision sells nothing itself. Where it suggests a product it says so, and links to Amazon, where we may earn a commission. That never changes what the app tells you to buy — the list comes from your own store and your own target, and the link is added at the end.
