ilé - Perfume & Fragrance Tips

Choosing a fragrance is hard, finding new fragrances that match your taste is harder. You can't smell it online and don't want to commit without trying . ilé is a personal fragrance advisor that actually knows you. Tell it what you own and what you like, then just ask "what should I wear on a date?", "something for a summer wedding?", "is this worth buying?" and get an answer that fits you, with the reasoning behind it. PICK WHOSE TASTE YOU TRUST Every other app gives you the same generic answer. ilé gives you the judgement of a specific person whose taste you chose. Each advisor is built from a real person's documented taste and opinions, with their permission. Ask the same question of two advisors and you will get two different answers — which is the point. Save up to five, and switch whenever you like. ADVICE THAT USES WHAT YOU ALREADY OWN ilé reads your wardrobe before it reads the catalogue. Ask what to wear tonight and it will usually point at something already on your shelf, and tell you how to wear it — how many sprays, and where. It only suggests buying something when there is genuinely a gap. YOUR WARDROBE, IN ORDER Add what you own, what you have tried, and what is on your wishlist. Point your camera at a bottle and ilé will identify it rather than making you type it. Log what you wore and how it made you feel, with a photo if you like. Those memories build a calendar you can look back through — and your advisor reads it too, so "give me something I have not worn lately" means exactly what it says. IN PLAIN ENGLISH No pyramids, no sillage, no chypre. Fragrances are described by what they smell like — fresh laundry, warm leather, holiday sunshine — and how strong they are, and how long they last. If your mum would not understand the label, it is not on the label. FIND SOMETHING NEW Browse a verified library of thousands of fragrances. Swipe through picks chosen for your taste. Read reviews from other members, and see real prices from the shops that actually stock a bottle. Found something you would like to try? Ask for a sample, and we will tell you when it lands. WHAT IT COSTS Free. You get advice credits every week, and they refresh every Monday. ilé is for anyone from those starting a collection, to anyone who owns more than one bottle and has stood in front of the shelf not knowing which to reach for. You do not need to know anything about fragrance. Let ilé help you smell great.
