ScanBuddy

ScanBuddy is a practical assistant designed to make supported delivery-driver workflows quicker and less stressful. It helps with difficult parcel barcodes, eligible single-parcel deliveries and a small set of repeated delivery actions — while keeping you in control of every delivery decision. FEATURES Smart Scan Use your camera to read many damaged or poorly printed tracking barcodes. ScanBuddy places the recognised number into your delivery driver app, where the app still verifies it. Auto Fill When exactly one parcel remains to be scanned on a supported delivery screen, Auto Fill enters its tracking number without using the camera. Quick Actions Helpful shortcuts for supported workflows, including Business Closed, Wrong Postcode and Already Collected. Each action appears only on its relevant screen. Performance dashboard See locally calculated delivery activity, working time and estimated time saved. Your dashboard data stays on your device. Personal positioning Choose a left- or right-handed button position, adjust its vertical placement and tailor scanner tips to your preference. PRIVACY AND CONTROL ScanBuddy processes the supported on-screen information and camera preview locally on your device to provide its features. It does not store, upload, sell or share parcel tracking numbers, customer details or camera images. The app uses Android Accessibility permission solely to recognise supported delivery-driver screens and place information into the appropriate field. Camera permission is used only while Smart Scan is active. IMPORTANT Always check parcel labels and the details shown in your delivery driver app before completing a delivery action. Do not use ScanBuddy while driving. SUBSCRIPTION ScanBuddy includes a 3-day free trial, followed by a £1 per week auto-renewing subscription. You can cancel at any time through Google Play. ScanBuddy is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supplied by any delivery company or delivery-driver app.
