Full description
LeafLink is an independent companion app for Nissan electric cars in Europe. It signs in to your own Nissan account, shows what the car is doing right now, and then answers the questions the official app leaves you guessing at. Free. No ads, no subscription, and nothing held back behind a payment. Not sure yet? Tap "Explore with a sample car" on the sign-in screen and try the whole app with sample data. No account needed. DO I NEED TO CHARGE TONIGHT? The question every EV owner asks, answered from your own driving rather than a rule of thumb. LeafLink learns what a busy Tuesday looks like for you and what your car really returns per kWh, then tells you plainly whether there is enough in it for tomorrow. WHAT THE CAR WON'T TELL YOU Real range, not the guessometer. A year of your own trips, turned into what you actually achieve per kWh and shown next to the dashboard estimate, so you can see which way it is wrong. Your winter penalty is measured the same way, from your own driving. What a mile really costs. Enter your electricity tariff, including a cheap overnight EV rate, and see the cost per mile. Charging losses are counted, so the number is honest rather than flattering, and the same miles are priced up as petrol alongside it. Battery state of health. The figure every owner wants and no official app shows. LeafLink estimates usable capacity from energy used against charge consumed, and marks the line where the warranty stops covering capacity loss. On the LEAF generations with the twelve-segment gauge it gives the bar count too. Cold-weather samples are kept apart: a cold pack gives up less energy without having lost any health. Your charge history, rebuilt. Nissan keeps no charge record for the LEAF, so LeafLink reconstructs one from its own readings - when you charged, how much went in, and how fast - along with the three habits that actually age a pack. YOUR CAR, LIVE Charge, range, plug state, odometer, cabin temperature, doors and locks. Climate control, charge start, and horn and lights to find it in a car park. Vehicle location where your subscription includes it. Home screen widgets for charge at a glance and one-tap pre-conditioning, so you can warm the car without opening it. THE PAPERWORK TOO MOT, tax, insurance and service dates, with a reminder a month before and again in the final week. A countdown on the eight year, 100,000 mile battery warranty that says which limit binds first. On a lease or PCP, whether your mileage is heading past the allowance and what the excess would cost. Warning lamps read from the car, the age of your 12V battery - the most common reason a LEAF will not wake up - and an optional monthly tyre pressure prompt. Optional alerts when charging finishes and when the car has been left unlocked. All off unless you switch them on. Day by day distance, efficiency and cost, with CSV export. Works offline: no signal shows your last reading, not an error. Changing phone? Save a copy of your data to a file you keep and read it back on the new one. PRIVATE BY DESIGN LeafLink has no servers. Your password goes from your phone to Nissan and nowhere else, and is never stored. Tokens are held in encrypted storage on the device, and everything you type stays there. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. IF YOU LIKE IT There is a tip button on the home screen. It is entirely optional, it unlocks nothing, and every feature works whether you use it or not. WHAT YOU NEED An active Nissan connected services account and a compatible European vehicle (LEAF, Ariya and other models from 2019 onwards). What works depends on your vehicle and subscription; anything unsupported is shown as unavailable rather than failing. NOT AN OFFICIAL NISSAN APP LeafLink is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Nissan. Nissan, NissanConnect and LEAF are trademarks of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, used here only to describe the vehicles and services the app works with
