DigiTune Connect

DigiTune Connect is the companion app for customers of DigiTune's remote ECU tuning service. It connects your phone to your car's Motorsport Electronics (ME) ECU, such as the ME221 or ME442, and does everything your tuner needs doing at the car, with nothing to install on a laptop. HOW IT WORKS • Buy a tune from DigiTune and enter your tune licence in the app. • Plug your phone into the ECU with a USB OTG cable. • Your tuner sends you jobs: setting up the car, recording a drive, or putting a new version of your tune on the ECU. Each one walks you through what to do, step by step. • Logs and results go back to your tuner by themselves. Nothing to email, no files to find. RECORD YOUR DRIVES • Record a log from key-on, so the cold start and cranking are included. • Put the phone in a cradle and drive: the app keeps the screen on while it records, so your phone can't cut a drive short. • Look back over any recording in the built-in log viewer. • Optionally, record every drive automatically once the engine starts. This is off until you switch it on. SEE WHAT YOUR ECU IS SET TO • Browse every setting and table in the tune on your ECU. • Spoken warnings, if you want them, tell you when something needs attention (coolant temperature, battery voltage, a lean mixture, knock) while you keep your eyes on the road. WHAT YOU NEED • A tune from DigiTune (gts.digitune.co.uk). • A Motorsport Electronics ECU. • An Android phone that supports USB OTG (host mode), and a suitable cable.
