Reach Trade

Reach is a fintech platform that gives retail investors a single account to access stocks and ETFs across emerging markets in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Instead of opening separate brokerage accounts with different providers in each country, users fund one account and trade across multiple exchanges from one place. The platform currently supports the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX), the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), Brazil's B3, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in Kenya, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) in South Africa, and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in India, with more markets planned. Investors can fund their accounts in US dollars, British pounds, euros, or Nigerian naira, and Reach handles the underlying foreign exchange conversion, trade settlement, and custody through regulated partners, removing much of the friction that normally comes with cross-border investing. Reach is built for two overlapping audiences: everyday retail investors who want diversified exposure to fast-growing emerging economies without navigating a patchwork of local brokers, and developers or algorithmic traders who need programmatic access. The platform offers a web app, native iOS and Android apps, and a REST API for developers, along with a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI agents like Claude place trades on a user's behalf with explicit authorization. The core problem Reach is solving is threefold: many emerging-market exchanges operate as closed loops with capital controls that make them hard for outside investors to reach; the brokerage infrastructure needed to trade across these markets is fragmented, forcing investors to juggle multiple accounts and currencies; and information asymmetry keeps many outside investors from understanding or trusting these markets in the first place. By consolidating account opening, funding, trading, and custody into one product, Reach positions itself as "a simpler way to invest in stocks and ETFs across Africa, LatAm, Asia, and beyond."
