Full description
Align is a calm but brain-teasing word puzzle game. You slide scrambled letters until a hidden word lines up. It looks simple, and then you cannot put it down. HOW IT WORKS Every puzzle gives you a 5x5 grid of scrambled letters and one hidden target word. Slide the rows and columns until those letters sit in a straight line, and the word clicks into place on its own. No typing, no timers, no rush. Just you and the grid. The strips wrap around, so a letter that slides off one edge comes back on the other. That single twist is what turns an easy-looking board into a real logic puzzle. The challenge is not finding the word. It is solving the board in the fewest possible moves. STARS REWARD EFFICIENCY Every puzzle has an exact optimal solution and a move budget. Hit the optimal number of moves and you take all five stars. Every extra move costs you one. To pass a level you need four stars or better on enough of its puzzles, so a sloppy clear is never quite enough. That is what keeps you coming back to boards you have already solved. WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT - Pure sliding gameplay: no typing, no timers, just smart moves - Line words up horizontally or vertically; the grid detects your win automatically - Level after level, each one a set of puzzles on a smooth difficulty curve - Chase the perfect score: fewer moves means more stars - Relaxing one-handed play for a bus ride, a queue or a coffee break - Clean, minimalist design that is easy on the eyes, in light or dark theme - Free to play PLAY IN YOUR LANGUAGE Pick the language of the words separately from the app's interface. Read the menus in your own language while you hunt for words in another. Train your vocabulary in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese or Swedish, and switch whenever you like. It is a word game and a language workout at the same time. FEATURES - Hearts are your lives. You spend one when a puzzle beats you or when you take a hint, and they refill on their own over time. - Stuck? A hint nudges you in the right direction, and the full solution replays the board move by move. - Sign in with Google, Apple or Play Games and your progress follows you to your next device. - A global leaderboard ranks players by how efficiently they solve, not by how many hours they pour in. - Light and dark themes, haptic feedback, and a one-time purchase to remove ads. WHO IT IS FOR If you like word games, anagrams and unscrambling letters, sliding puzzles and tile games, or logic puzzles and brain teasers, Align sits right in the middle of all of them. It is a casual game you can pick up for a single puzzle, and a genuinely hard optimization problem if you decide to chase five stars on everything. TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS - Find the row or column that already holds most of the word and build around it. - Remember the wrap. Sometimes the shortest route to a letter runs off the far edge. - Vertical solutions count too. When a horizontal solve looks expensive, turn the board sideways in your head. - A puzzle you have already passed is worth replaying. Your stars only ever go up. A DAILY BRAIN WORKOUT Spelling, vocabulary, spatial thinking and planning ahead, all in a game that never asks you to type a single letter. A few puzzles a day is a gentle brain training habit that still feels like play. Slide. Align. Solve.
