Full description
Pelo is your animals' health record, on your phone. Vet visits, treatments, vaccines, weight, documents and costs all live in one place, and reminders give you a heads-up before a dose or a due date slips by. Open the app and the first screen tells you what needs doing today: check off the dose, or push it back. Got more than one animal? Switch between them with a tap. What's inside • Treatments with reminders: how many tablets are left, when the box runs out, how many ml per dose. • Cabinet: the medicines, flea and tick treatments and food you keep at home, and it tells you when a box is about to run out. Scan the barcode to add them. • Vaccines with their validity dates. For dogs, cats and rabbits the schedule is built in and suggests the boosters; for other animals you enter the dates yourself. • Health diary: vet visits, tests, lab results and symptoms on one timeline, with dated photos. Weight and vital signs with charts. • A monthly calendar with treatments, vaccines and appointments. • Costs: the yearly total, month by month and by category, with a photo of the receipt. • Vets: your contacts with the number to call, a map and nearby clinics. Clinics open 24 hours get their own section. • Documents: passport, certificates and reports with a valid, expiring or expired label, plus a checklist of what to bring when you travel abroad. • Emergency card: microchip, allergies, current treatments and the number to call on one screen, with a QR code. It opens without a connection too. • Family tree: parents, inherited conditions, pregnancies and litters. Export the pedigree and pass it on to the new owner. Dog, cat, rabbit, bird, rodent, reptile and more: each animal gets its own profile, history and color. What it costs Pelo is free to download and free to use for up to two animals. Two extras are unlocked separately, each with a one-off payment and no subscription: • Unlimited animals, from the third one on. • Report and sitter sheet: a report of the last twelve months to take to the vet, and a sheet with food, medicines, habits and emergency numbers for whoever takes care of your animal. No ads. Your data No account, no data collected, no analytics SDK. Your animals' data stays on your phone and the app works offline: the connection is only used for the map, nearby clinics and the barcode scanner. Backup is a file you export yourself; when you switch phones, you import it on the new one. Without a backup, if the phone is lost, the data can't be recovered, so it's worth exporting one now and then. Pelo was made for a real dog, who is actually called Pelo, and it's built by one person. Pelo organizes information about your animals: it does not provide diagnoses or veterinary advice. For your animal's health, always talk to a vet.
