Full description
Japamala Lite: Digital Counter is a simple, lightweight and distraction-free app designed for Japa, mantra repetition, naam japa, meditation and daily spiritual practice. A Japa Mala is traditionally a string of prayer beads used in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and other spiritual traditions to keep count while repeating a mantra, prayer or the name of God. A traditional mala commonly contains 108 beads, although smaller counts such as 18, 27 and 54 are also used. Japamala Lite brings this traditional practice to your phone with a clean and peaceful digital counter. Simple Japa Counting Tap anywhere on the main counter to count each mantra repetition. The circular progress indicator lets you easily see how far you have progressed through your current mala. 108-Bead Mala The default round contains 108 beads, following the traditional Japa Mala practice. You can also adjust the number of beads per round according to your personal practice. Volume Button Counting Enable volume-button counting and continue your Japa without constantly looking at the screen. This can help you maintain concentration while repeating your mantra. Vibration Feedback Optional vibration gives gentle feedback whenever a bead is counted, helping you stay aware of your progress without checking the display. Round Completion Alert Choose sound or vibration when a complete mala round is finished. This allows you to continue your spiritual practice with minimal interruption. Track Your Practice See your: • Current bead count • Completed rounds • Beads counted today • Lifetime bead count Your progress is kept simple so the focus remains on your Japa rather than complicated statistics. Undo & Reset Accidentally counted an extra bead? Use Undo to correct it instantly. You can also reset the current round whenever you want to begin again. Dark Mode Use the comfortable dark theme for evening meditation, early-morning Japa or low-light environments. Multiple Languages Japamala Lite supports: • English • हिन्दी • বাংলা • System default language Why Japamala Lite? Japamala Lite is created for people who want a minimal digital Japa counter without unnecessary distractions. Whether you practice: • Mantra Japa • Naam Japa • Hare Krishna chanting • Ram Naam • Shiva mantra • Gayatri mantra • Buddhist mantra • Meditation affirmations • Personal prayers you can use Japamala Lite as a simple companion for keeping count. About Japa Mala A traditional mala generally contains 108 beads along with a larger Guru bead. During Japa, practitioners usually move from one bead to the next while repeating a mantra. The Guru bead traditionally marks the completion of one full round. Using a mala can help reduce the need to mentally count repetitions, allowing greater attention to be placed on the mantra, its sound and the meditative experience. Lightweight. Peaceful. Focused. Japamala Lite is designed around one idea: keep the technology simple so you can focus on your spiritual practice.
