Uloborus

Uloborus on a phone: what is waiting, what is late, and what is on hand. This is a companion app for plants already running Uloborus. It signs in to your own installation and shows you six things worth knowing before you reach the office. It is read-only by design — nothing in it can raise an order, edit a record, or change a figure. YOU NEED AN ACCOUNT This app does not work on its own. It requires a username and password issued by your plant's Uloborus administrator, and a server to point at. If your plant does not run Uloborus, this app has nothing to show you. WHAT IT SHOWS Today — the numbers that matter this morning, ordered by urgency rather than by category. Items already out come before stock value, because one stops work today and the other does not. Alerts — what is about to stop the plant. Out-of-stock is kept separate from running-low, because "the line is stopped" is a different problem from "we have four days left", with a different phone call attached. Stock — how much of an item is on hand and where it sits. Search leads, because nobody scrolls two hundred lines on a phone. Usable stock is shown apart from quarantined stock, so nobody promises material that is not theirs to promise. Orders — what you owe customers and what suppliers owe you, in two tabs of the same question. Past its date first, then due, then everything else. Drafts sort last. Money — receivables and payables bucketed by how late they are, because a single outstanding total hides the difference between a customer who is a week slow and one who is not going to pay. Micro and small suppliers are tagged, since paying them late is a disallowed expense under Section 43B(h) rather than a fee you can absorb. Parties — who you deal with and how to reach them. A contact's number is one tap from a call and an address is one tap from a map. This is the screen a desk cannot do better.
