Full description

Practical teaches you a language the way you actually learn one: by living it. Instead of vocabulary lists and disconnected rules, you step into real situations —greeting a neighbor, ordering at a café, a job interview, a first date— and you work through them by talking. Your conversation partner replies naturally, and when you're done you get a clear breakdown of your language mistakes, plus tips to improve. WHY IT WORKS • You learn by speaking, not memorizing. Every situation is a real conversation, with its own context and goal. • Instant corrections focused on your grammar and vocabulary mistakes. • From zero to expert: a path from level A0 (complete beginner, guided in your own language) all the way to C2. • In your language: the app adapts to your phone's language so it teaches you naturally. LANGUAGES English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Basque. PRACTICE BY PLAYING • Word of the day (Wordle-style) in the language you're learning. • Translate real street signs. • Spot the expressions and idioms only locals use. • The proofreader: is this sentence written correctly or not? PREMIUM Unlock free chat (talk about anything, unscripted, with whoever you like), 100+ exclusive situations, level C2, and natural voices. Monthly or yearly subscription; cancel anytime. Start free and speak from day one.

What's new

• Live voice conversations: you speak and they answer right away, with a natural voice. • Practical is now one subscription with everything included: every situation from A1 to C2, free chat and the daily games. Weekly, monthly or yearly plan; monthly and yearly include 3 free days. • Your first conversation, guided step by step. • Daily goal in minutes, a new map for your route and redesigned games. • Improvements and fixes.
