Vulkan Blocks is a minimalist falling-blocks puzzle game. Pieces drop from the top of the playfield. Shift and rotate them so complete rows clear. Keep stacking until the board fills. CONTROLS • Swipe left / right to shift pieces across the board • Swipe down to hard-drop the current piece • Swipe up to rotate FEATURES • Portrait-only, tuned for one-handed play • Background music • Vulkan rendering backend • Small install (~6 MB) • Fast startup, no menus NO JUNK • No ads • No in-app purchases • No analytics or tracking • No permissions requested — no network, no storage, no microphone, no camera • No account required — open the app and play ABOUT Vulkan Blocks is a showcase game for the nodes engine: a small C++ game engine with a Vulkan graphics backend. If you're curious about the engine or the source, get in touch. Requires Android 10 (API 29) or later.

What's new

Fixed: Back on the start screen could leave a black screen if the game had been launched a second time while already open. No black screen while the game starts or when you return to it: the splash or the last picture stays up until the first frame is drawn. Graphics shaders are less than half their former size.
