Ring on Silent

Ring on Silent lets your phone ring for the people and apps that matter — even when it's on silent, in Do Not Disturb, or locked. Silent mode and Do Not Disturb are built to keep your phone quiet. The problem is they keep everything quiet. A spam text, a work group chat, and your mother asking where you are all land in the same unread pile — and you find out about the important one only when the icon finally turns red. Ring on Silent changes that. Your phone stays quiet for everything except the notifications you say should break through. Those ring audibly on the alarm audio channel, exactly like a clock alarm — which is why they cut through silent mode, Do Not Disturb, and silent-with-vibration profiles. WHAT IT DOES • Ring through silent and DND. Selected notifications play on the alarm stream with Android's enforced-audibility flag. If your phone can be heard, so can they. • Per-app control. Flip any installed app between Ring and Silence. Silence all, then pick the few that should ring. • Keyword rules. Set "Mom", "boss", "urgent" and only messages containing those words — as whole words, case-insensitive — will ring. Everything else from that app stays quiet. • Custom sounds and volume. Choose a different alert tone per app, or pick any sound already on your phone. Set volume independently for each app, with optional vibration. • Re-post hidden notifications. Notifications Android would otherwise hide from your lock screen can be re-posted as a visible copy. • Profiles. Save a snapshot of your app selections and sounds — Work, Sleep, Focus — and switch between them in one tap. • Schedules. Apply a profile on a timetable, automatically. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO Ring on Silent reads notifications on your device and decides whether a sound should play. It doesn't send, forward, or modify any notification, and it doesn't host accounts or sign in anywhere. • No network connection. The app has no INTERNET permission and makes zero network calls. • No data collection. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored on any server. Your settings live only in the app's private storage and are deleted when you uninstall. • No analytics, no ads, no tracking SDKs, no third-party services. • Everything works offline, including immediately after purchase. All processing happens inside the Android app sandbox on your own device. Notification text is never stored, transmitted, or shared. REQUIRES Android 8.0 or later, plus the Notification Listener permission, which you grant in system settings after installing. Do Not Disturb access is optional and only needed to detect when DND is active.
