Surface

Surface is a quiet daily companion for one of the simplest habits there is: keeping your home's surfaces clear. Each day, one small task. Return something to where it belongs. Clear one surface. Restore a little calm. It takes less than a minute, and over time it changes how your home feels. There are no streaks to protect, no points to earn, no badges for consistency. Surface doesn't reward you — it simply shows up each day, offers something small, and steps back. The goal, quietly, is that you need it less over time. HOW IT WORKS Set the spaces that matter to you — your desk, your kitchen counter, your bedside table. Choose when you'd like a gentle reminder: morning, evening, or not at all. Each day Surface gives you one small act, sized to the habit you're building. When you're done, hold the circle. A reflection appears — a line, a haiku, a quiet thought — and then you're back to your day. WHAT SURFACE DOESN'T DO It won't track your mood, sync to the cloud, send you urgent notifications, or ask you to rate it after three days. It keeps no account of your failures. There are no red days. PROGRESS, QUIETLY A simple dot grid shows your week at a glance. Filled dots for prompted completions. Open circles for times you tidied on your own. A record, not a report card. One small tidying task, every day Three tiers — return an item, clear a surface, restore a room Set your own spaces — desk, kitchen counter, bedside table, and more Morning, evening, or night reminders — or none at all Hold-to-complete with a quiet reflection after each task Weekly dot grid — a record, not a report card No streaks, no points, no badges, no red days Local only — no account, no cloud sync, no data collected Free, with an optional one-time contribution to support development Just the right amount. Nothing more.
