Droplet: File Sharing

Droplet sends files straight from one phone to the phone next to it, between Android and iPhone or between two Android phones. There is no account to create and your file contents never pass through a Droplet server. Open Droplet on both phones, bring them close and compare the six-digit code. After both people confirm, Droplet creates a local encrypted connection and sends only the files you choose. What you can do: • Send from Android to iPhone, iPhone to Android, or Android to Android • Offer files in both directions at the same time • Accept all files or choose them individually • Every file is checked on arrival • Save received files separately or together • Review transfer history stored on your phone • Keep a transfer you started running with an ongoing notification you can stop at any time Free and Pro: Droplet is free to download and use. Free sharing sends up to 5 files or 100 MB in one transfer. Droplet Pro is an optional subscription, weekly or yearly, that removes the size limit and sends up to 10,000 files in one transfer; the receiving phone needs the free space. Prices come from Google Play and are shown before you buy, and the subscription renews until you cancel it in Google Play. Restore purchases and Manage subscription are in Droplet's Settings. Both phones need Droplet installed, with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on. Connection availability depends on nearby-device permissions, device storage and operating-system limits.
