Every email you answer creates more email. Inbox Zero is a short, text-only incremental game about the inbox that never ends. You start with 12 unread emails and a Reply button. Reach inbox zero and you get promoted. Get promoted and the volume goes up. THE NUMBER YOU WATCH Every email you handle brings back k new ones: replies, follow-ups, someone replying all. That's your reply ratio. Keep it below 1 and inbox zero is in reach. Push it above 1 and the pile grows forever. The catch: every efficiency upgrade makes you faster and raises k.
