Full description
Rescript is an unsent letter journal for breakups, grief and no contact. Write to whoever you can’t reach — the person you’re trying to stop loving, someone you lost, the version of you who had a title, or the thought that won’t leave you alone at 2am. No one else will ever read it. WRITE THE UNSENT LETTER Choose who it’s to, then start from the moment you’re in: the 2am thought, Day 1 of no contact, their Spotify, “Should I text my ex?”, the message you’ll never send. Add a photo if you need to. Rescript leaves one gentle question in the margin — a P.S. that changes as you write — and then it stays quiet. It’s a journal, not a chatbot. It won’t talk back. KEEP IT, RELEASE IT, OR BURN IT Every letter ends with a choice. • Keep it on your desk to come back to. • Release it, and watch it drift away. • Burn it, and watch it turn to ash. Released and burned letters are permanently deleted. Not archived. Not searchable. Gone. A NO CONTACT COUNTER ON YOUR DESK Set your no-contact date and Rescript counts the days — Day 1, Day 7, Day 47 — beside every letter you wrote instead of texting them. A breakup journal and a no contact tracker in one quiet place. FOR GRIEF, TOO Write to someone you lost. Say the thing you didn’t get to say. Grief doesn’t keep a schedule, and neither does Rescript: no streaks, no score, no pressure to come back tomorrow. WHEN A LETTER ISN’T ENOUGH • Heal through writing — a structured, guided journal program, one session at a time. Your draft is saved if you need to stop. • Be mindful — an open-ended daily journal page for the harder days. • Guides — articles, videos and books for breakups, grief and the parts nobody prepares you for. • Export your letters as a PDF, sent to your email. FOR THE THINGS YOU CARRY ALONE The breakup you can’t stop thinking about. Grief after losing a parent, a partner, a friend. No contact, Day 1 or Day 147. The 2am thought. The thing you can’t say to anyone in your life. Rescript isn’t therapy and doesn’t replace care from a professional. If you’re in crisis, the Help tab lists crisis resources. Some features, including Burn it, the guided program and daily reflections, need a Rescript subscription.
