Full description
SolarGolf is a multi-level 2D pixel art game where each level feels like a small challenge in its own right. The player sees the target immediately. The flag is not hidden, the rules do not change without warning, victory is formulated very specifically: the sun must be in the hole. But simplicity here does not equal ease. The further the player moves, the more carefully he has to pay attention to the trajectory. One hit may look obvious, but a second later it becomes clear that there was too much force or the angle was chosen slightly wrong. In SolarGolf, it is not speed for the sake of speed that is important, but the accuracy of the decision. The player evaluates the distance, position of the hole, height, space available and then makes an attempt. Sometimes the right move is found right away. Sometimes a level stubbornly requires one more hit, one more adjustment, one more careful calculation. The sun did not hit the hole - which means you need to look more carefully. There is normal gaming pleasure in this: not a random victory, but a clear result after your own actions. Pixel style SolarGolf works without overload. It doesn't distract from the main thing and makes every screen readable. The sun is noticeable, the flag is clearly visible, and the space of the level is perceived quickly. The player does not have to figure out what is happening on the screen. Everything is presented compactly, cleanly and with character. The visual part looks light, but not empty: it supports the mood of the game and leaves room for the mechanics themselves. SolarGolf is good for those who like short levels with a clear goal. You can open the game for a couple of minutes, go through several stages, get stuck on one awkward hit, come back and still get it. There are no long explanations or artificial complexity for show. The main interest is based on how accurately the player understands the behavior of the sun after the impact. A small difference in direction changes the result, and you quickly begin to feel it in your hands. For those who like 2D levels, pixel art, and honest precision challenges, SolarGolf looks like an easy choice. It has a place for quick successful strikes, and annoying misses, and for that very moment when, after several attempts, the player finally finds the right solution. SolarGolf is built on a simple goal, but gives enough space to make every win feel earned. It's a compact, clear and enjoyable game where the sun has to hit the hole - and it's best to do it as accurately as possible!
