Skiro Live

Green run A skier picks up speed down a snowy mountainside seen from above. Hold the left or right half of the screen, or drag sideways, to carve between pairs of red and blue poles. Trees, rocks and marker flags send you tumbling and cost speed, and a chequered line marks the finish, timed to a hundredth of a second. Blue run The Slalom Cup holds 24 courses on four mountains, Glacier Bowl, Larch Ridge, Granite Couloir and Dawn Summit, six on each, with the pairs narrowing and obstacles thickening along the way. A missed pair adds two seconds, finishing under the par times gives up to three stars, and each course opens the next. Red run Endless Descent is one hill that never stops, tightening the further you go. Three slips, from misses or crashes, end the run, and the longest descent and most pairs passed are recorded. The Daily Course is drawn from the date, the same for every skier, with its own streak. Black run Snowflakes collected on courses, descents and quizzes unlock 14 pieces of gear in the Workshop: skis, suits and trails. The Alpine Quiz asks ten questions from 26 real facts about skiing and mountains, moving a marker up the mountainside with each right answer. Statistics cover runs, kilometres skied, accuracy, peak speed, crashes and stars per mountain. The game plays offline with no ads or account.
