Store listing

Full description
Empty the wallet. Tolar keeps every loyalty card on your phone and gives you a shopping list you can share with the person you actually shop with. Store cards, club cards, membership cards, rewards and points cards — scan one once and it is waiting at the till: full screen, full brightness, working offline with no signal at all. Nothing to sign up for. LOYALTY CARDS IN ONE WALLET • Scan the barcode or QR from any card. Tolar reads Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, ITF and QR. • The barcode is redrawn from the stored value rather than kept as a photo, so it stays crisp at any size. • Open a card and the screen brightens on its own, then dims again when you leave, so the scanner at the till can read it. • A membership card with no barcode still belongs here. Photograph the front and back in card shape and keep it that way. • Notes on any card, and a one- or two-column grid, whichever you can read faster. • Cards from common Slovenian retailers get a lettered disc so you can pick one out at a glance. The letters are ours, set in the app's own type. No shop's logo is bundled and none is fetched. • Works offline. Your cards open with no signal, no data and no login. A SHARED SHOPPING LIST • A second tab for your shopping list, grocery list and to-dos, in sections you name. • Tick things off as you go. Checked items stay where they are instead of jumping around under your thumb. • Typing an item offers what you have bought before, so the weekly shop is a few taps. • Share the list with your partner, your family or whoever you live with, and it updates on their phone as you tick things off yours. SHARING, WHEN YOU WANT IT • Show a QR, send a short code, or scan theirs. Both phones then show the same safety number, so you can check you connected to the person actually in front of you. • Decide per connection whether they get your cards, your shopping list, or both. Remove a connection whenever you like. • Sync is off until you turn it on. A phone that never opts in makes no network call. AN AI ASSISTANT CAN JOIN TOO Tolar speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Connect an AI assistant as an ordinary contact and give it your shopping list, your cards, or both — it sees only what you granted, and nothing else in your account. Revoke it the same way you would revoke a person. A shared shopping list your assistant can reach over MCP, without handing over anything else. Setup: https://tolar.vstaric.si/mcp.html IF YOU LOSE YOUR PHONE When you switch sync on, Tolar shows you twelve words. Those words are your account. Type them into a new phone and your loyalty cards and lists come back. Write them down somewhere safe. There is no password reset here, because there is no password and no account for anyone to reset. If you lose the twelve words, nobody can recover the data — us included. We would rather you read that here than find it out later. If you never switch sync on, nothing is backed up anywhere. Your cards live on the phone and leave with it. NO ADS, NO TRACKING There are no ads and no advertising SDKs, and nothing follows you into other apps. Cards, photos and lists are encrypted on your phone before they leave it, and the sync server cannot read them. Diagnostics are off until you switch them on. They send crash reports, usage counts, which screens you open, and the shop name from a card when the app does not recognise it — that last one is how we learn which shops to add. The app says all of this on the switch, and turning it back off stops it. WHAT TOLAR DOES NOT DO No points balances and no link to any retailer's system: Tolar shows the card, the till does the rest. No payments and no tap-to-pay. No login, no profile, no feed. The app is in English. Tolar was the currency of Slovenia before the euro, and the retailer names it recognises are Slovenian. What's new

Push notifications now work. They never did: the app and the server disagreed about one message's shape, so every push was rejected. Shared lists and cards now update when someone changes them, instead of waiting for the next sync. Also: • Copy your recovery phrase, for a password manager rather than paper. • Your name and mark reach the people you share with. • One back arrow everywhere, and a card title that stays put while you scroll.
