Share your photos without unnecessary embedded metadata. PhotoDeAI removes hidden metadata and AI provenance information stored inside image files before you publish or share them. It is especially useful for AI-generated or AI-edited images that may contain embedded information identifying the generator, editing software, workflow or AI provenance. When sharing images to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or other social networks, some services may use embedded metadata such as C2PA / Content Credentials to identify how an image was created or edited. PhotoDeAI lets you create a clean copy of your image without those embedded metadata records. Useful before publishing online PhotoDeAI can be useful when you want to share an AI-generated or edited image on Facebook or other social platforms without carrying embedded AI provenance metadata inside the file. Removing C2PA, generator and workflow metadata may prevent identification that relies specifically on those embedded records. However, social platforms can use additional detection methods. PhotoDeAI therefore cannot guarantee that Facebook or another service will not identify or label an image as AI-generated. It cannot remove or guarantee removal of pixel-level or invisible watermarking technologies such as SynthID, nor can it guarantee that an image's origin cannot be identified using other analysis methods.
