NIX rewards students for being present. Schools use NIX to make phone-free time worth choosing. Students leave their phones at home or in the car, show up, and earn something real for it. No pouches, no hardware, no confiscation. TWO WAYS SCHOOLS USE NIX Events. A school sets up a game, a dance, or an assembly as a phone-free event. Students who show up without their phones are scanned in with the student ID badge they already carry, and they earn the reward the school is offering. School day. A school running a phone-free day uses NIX to verify that phones stayed away during school hours, and nothing else. FOR STUDENTS Sign up with your school student ID. Pick your school, register, and you are in. See what is coming up, what the reward is, and where it is. Start a location check on your phone, leave it at home or in the car, then get your badge scanned at the door. Add friends and see who else is showing up. FOR STAFF Scan student ID badges at the door with your phone camera. A scan takes seconds, and the roster updates as you go. FOR SCHOOL ADMINS Create events, set the reward, manage your roster, and see how a phone-free event or school day actually went. WHAT NIX DOES NOT DO NIX checks one thing: whether a phone was away during a window the school defined. That is the whole list. NIX does not track students. It does not see what is on a phone, which apps were opened, or where anyone is outside that window. Location is checked only while a student has started a check, only inside the event or school-day window, and a notification stays visible the entire time with a Disarm button in it. The student can stop it at any point. NIX does not sell or share student data. There is no exception to that. GETTING ACCESS NIX comes from your school.
