Store listing

Full description
Ända fram — all the way there. Navigation takes you to the address; ParkGratis takes you to the space. ParkGratis is an independent app and does not represent any government agency. The sources of all data are listed at the end. ParkGratis helps you find free parking, customer parking and low-cost spots near any address, mall or supermarket in Sweden. Parking data for all of Sweden ships inside the app; map imagery, address search and walking routes are fetched over the network. WHAT YOU GET • Colour-coded P-signs: green = free, teal = store/customer parking, blue = paid, grey = unknown. • Can I park here? One answer for the map's centre, weighing street rules, fee hours and bans together — and it says "unknown" rather than guessing. • Street rules for all of Sweden: 89,348 regulations from 279 municipalities on fees, time limits, date parking (datumparkering) and parking bans. • Satellite view with aerial imagery over 60 municipalities — see the entrance and the bays before you set off. • EV charging points: 10,369 in Sweden, from NOBIL (Energimyndigheten) and OpenStreetMap. • Plan ahead: set a start time and minimum duration, and spots that close too soon drop out. • My car: save where you parked and get reminders before the max time runs out, before the fee starts and ahead of the cleaning night. • Paste a Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze link to find parking there. • Search shops and places by name; save favourites, Home and Work. • Pay shortcuts to common parking apps. • Read the sign with the camera: point at the pole and it is interpreted on the phone — the picture is never uploaded. Panels are read one by one with the clock and public holidays folded in, and whatever could not be read is marked as just that. An interpretation aid — the sign on the spot counts. DATE PARKING AND CLEANING NIGHTS Rules that alternate with even and odd dates or weeks are decoded where the municipality has published them — among them Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö. Where one cannot be decoded, the app says so instead of guessing. BUILT FOR PRIVACY No account, no sign-in. No analytics, no tracking. Your settings, searches and saved places stay on your device. The app may show occasional sponsored places near the map or your destination, always labelled "Sponsrad". They never affect which car parks are listed, their order, price or whether they count as free, and can be turned off in Settings. An offer gives a single-use QR code valid for 15 minutes. "Använd erbjudande" (use offer) sends a random device id not linked to you and your position, compared only with the business's location and not stored. ABOUT THE DATA AND SOURCES The information in the app comes from these sources: • Street rules: municipalities' local traffic regulations, published by Transportstyrelsen in Svensk trafikföreskriftssamling (STFS). https://rdt.transportstyrelsen.se/rdt/defaultstfs.aspx • Road network and built-up areas: Trafikverket, National Road Database (NVDB). https://lastkajen.trafikverket.se/ • Aerial imagery: Lantmäteriet, Ortofoto Nedladdning, CC BY 4.0, processed by ParkGratis. https://www.lantmateriet.se/sv/geodata/vara-produkter/produktlista/ortofoto-nedladdning/ • Parking at nature reserves and national parks: Naturvårdsverket. https://geodatakatalogen.naturvardsverket.se/ • EV charging: NOBIL (Energimyndigheten). https://info.nobil.no/ • Parking places and map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright — fallback tiles © CARTO. • Optional, with your own API key: City of Stockholm (https://openparking.stockholm.se/) and City of Gothenburg (https://data.goteborg.se/). Every street rule can be looked up against its regulation. Sources can be incomplete or out of date, so spots show "unknown" where the source is silent. ParkGratis is an independent app. It does not represent any government agency, municipality or parking operator and is not endorsed by any of them. Always check the sign on site.

What's new

Better answers to "Can I park here?". Within 10 meters before a pedestrian crossing and 30 meters from a level crossing the app now says parking is forbidden, as the Swedish traffic ordinance does, even where there is no sign. Rules from the wrong municipality are removed. Places for permit holders read "Permit holders only". The card and the map now point to the same side of the street. Ända fram — all the way there.
