Metafare

Metafare is the app that comes with your Metafare membership. You work out in VR on the headset we send you, a personal trainer plans your sessions, and the app keeps track of how you're doing. Training • Your trainer builds a daily plan around your goals and fitness level • Do your VR workouts on the headset that comes with your membership, including MetaBOX, Metafare's boxing game • Log exercises you do outside the headset, timed from start to finish • The app can check your calendar (on your phone only) and suggest a free slot for your next session Tracking • See your average, peak and per-exercise heart rate for each workout, from your smartwatch through Health Connect • Check your daily steps, active calories and sleep • No smartwatch? Your phone's step counter still counts your steps • Workouts your watch records show up too, sorted by sport: tennis, football, swimming and more • Compare what your trainer planned with what your watch recorded • Charts show how you're trending over time Staying motivated • See where you rank among your friends on the leaderboard • Invite friends and see their recent Metafare workouts in the Community tab • Friends you accept see your Metafare sessions and points. Your watch workouts add to your points, but friends only see the workouts themselves if you turn sharing on, and you choose how much • Build daily habits, with reminders if you want them Your trainer • Message your trainer on WhatsApp • Fill in the health survey so your program fits you • Email the Metafare team from your profile Your membership Your membership includes a VR headset, delivered to your home on loan, and a dedicated trainer who checks in with you every week. You can manage your membership in the app, including pausing it for a while. Your data Your heart rate and activity data are only uploaded if you agree to it, and you can withdraw that at any time. We never sell your data or use it for ads, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. Sleep data stays on your phone. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
