Full description
Antidote is a fast clinical reference of substances toxic to dogs and cats, built for veterinary professionals. When a patient presents with a suspected poisoning, the key facts are one tap away — how dangerous the agent is, the toxic dose, the mechanism, what to expect clinically, and how to treat. BUILT FOR THE CLINIC • 146 substances: plants, human and veterinary drugs, NSAIDs, rodenticides, pesticides, household chemicals, food and more. • Each monograph: toxic dose, mechanism of action, clinical signs, treatment protocol and prognosis. • Danger level on a four-step scale, visible straight from the list. • A note under each name: other names, plant family, active toxins. FAST TO SEARCH • Search by name, active ingredient, brand or trade name, and Latin name — typing a brand finds the substance behind it. • The note under the name is searchable too, so "flea collars" finds amitraz. • Quick filters by species and category. COMMONLY LOOKED UP Chocolate and theobromine, xylitol, grapes and raisins, lilies, monstera, dieffenbachia, paracetamol, ibuprofen, isoniazid, ethylene glycol, anticoagulant rodenticides, permethrin, onion and garlic, salt. MADE TO BE RELIABLE • Works offline — the reference is available even without a connection. • Russian and English content. • Favourites sync across your devices through your account. WHO COMPILED IT The reference was compiled and reviewed by Vadim A. Gubar, DVM — a practising veterinarian (surgery, neurology, orthopaedics), graduate of the Kuban State Agrarian University veterinary faculty and a full member of the Kuban Guild of Practising Veterinarians. Antidote is a professional reference tool intended to support, not replace, the clinical judgement of a qualified veterinarian. PREMIUM A subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase unlocks the full treatment protocols. Core browsing and search are free.
