Scribio: Audio to Text Offline

Scribio turns speech into text right on your phone. Recordings are processed locally instead of being uploaded for transcription. • Voice to text, offline: the Base speech model is built in, so it works even in airplane mode • Transcribe voice messages: share them straight from Telegram, WhatsApp and file managers • Transcribe call recordings: point Scribio at the folder where your phone's dialer saves them and new files are transcribed automatically • Record lectures, meetings and notes with one tap, or from a Quick Settings tile • 99 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, French, Japanese, Indonesian, Turkish and Hindi • On-device processing: transcription time depends on your phone and the length of the recording • Better accuracy when you want it: download the larger Small model, or import your own • Listen to a transcript or transcribe and speak in one step. An optional multilingual voice pack synthesizes speech on your device after you approve its download; an installed offline Android voice is used otherwise • See speech preparation progress, replay audio made with the downloaded voice without generating it again, or transcribe a recording again • Search across all your transcripts, copy or share the text • No account, no ads, no subscription Scribio does not upload your audio or transcripts for transcription. If you share a transcript with another app, that app handles the shared text under its own terms. Scribio uses the internet only when you choose to download an additional transcription model or the optional voice pack.
