Explore solar irradiation and compare cities using location-specific data. ESTIMATE SOLAR PRODUCTION Enter the planned system capacity in kWp, panel orientation and tilt. Split capacity across roof directions and set different tilts for each side. View estimated annual and monthly electricity production from JRC PVGIS. COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS Compare alternative panel orientations and tilts. See the difference from an optimal reference and explore recommended tilt angles for your selected directions. These estimates do not change your settings unless you choose to apply a scenario. PREPARE AN ENQUIRY Save a calculation and enquiry on your device. Add notes, your question, and up to three roof photographs and three electricity-bill photographs. Review your enquiry, then send the report and selected photographs using your email app. You can also share the report text through Android sharing. ABOUT THE ESTIMATES Solar production uses JRC PVGIS data with a 14% system-loss assumption. Historical sunshine data for city comparisons uses Open-Meteo. Results depend on data availability and are indicative estimates, not guaranteed production or a substitute for a site survey and professional system design. Local roof shading, individual equipment performance, battery operation and autonomy are not modelled. An internet connection is needed for maps and new data requests. The app is free, with no advertising, subscriptions or account registration.
