TAXIBAY DRIVER

**TAXIBAY Driver is the driver app for participating metered taxi drivers under the TAXIBAY Digital Network Supervision Platform.** The app is designed to support the modernization of the metered taxi industry by helping drivers receive booking opportunities, document trips, support taxi operator monitoring, and qualify for performance-based incentives. TAXIBAY does not replace the taxi meter. The official taxi fare remains based on the regulated taxi meter. The app adds a digital layer that helps record participating taxi trips, whether the passenger comes from an app booking, taxi lane pick-up, or street-hail ride. **Key Features** **Receive Booking Requests** Drivers may receive booking requests from nearby passengers in supported service areas. **Digital Trip Documentation** Participating rides may be digitally recorded to help create a trip history for reference, service support, and operator monitoring. **Support for Metered Taxi Operation** TAXIBAY is designed for metered taxi drivers. Drivers continue to operate using the taxi meter as the official fare basis. **Street-Hail and Taxi Lane Trip Support** The app is designed not only for app-booked rides, but also to support documentation of participating street-hail and taxi lane pick-up rides. **Localized Booking Coverage** Drivers may become digitally visible to nearby passengers within supported coverage areas, helping increase passenger opportunities beyond the physical taxi stand. **Driver Performance Record** Completed documented trips may help build a driver activity record, which may support ranking, operator monitoring, and incentive eligibility. **Incentive Program Support** Participating drivers may qualify for platform or operator-supported incentives based on valid completed trips, online activity, booking acceptance, and program rules. **Trip Code Reference** Supported trips may generate a trip reference or trip code that can help with service verification and complaint handling. **Operator Dashboard Support** Taxi operators may use the TAXIBAY dashboard to monitor participating units, trip activity, online status, and driver performance. **Digital Modernization Without Complicating the Driver’s Work** TAXIBAY is designed to support drivers without changing the basic nature of metered taxi driving. Drivers continue to pick up passengers, use the taxi meter, complete trips, and serve the riding public. The app simply adds digital documentation, booking visibility, and performance-based opportunities. **Why Use TAXIBAY Driver?** Traditional taxi drivers often depend only on street-hail passengers or taxi lanes. With TAXIBAY, participating drivers may gain additional booking opportunities while still serving regular metered taxi passengers. The platform helps modernize taxi driving by supporting: * booking requests from nearby passengers; * digital trip records; * driver activity history; * incentive eligibility; * operator coordination; * passenger confidence; * trip reference for service concerns. **TAXIBAY Driver helps metered taxi drivers become part of a digitally supervised, modernized taxi network.** Use TAXIBAY Driver to accept supported bookings, document participating trips, and take part in the modernization of the metered taxi industry. **Note:** TAXIBAY Driver features, booking availability, supported areas, incentives, trip documentation functions, and operator dashboard integration may vary depending on location, participating taxi operator, unit activation, and platform rollout status.
