Full description
There is no sky on this dial. What you are looking at is a scanner's own viewfinder: an aperture ring, sixty tick marks, lock brackets, a slow sweep — and Nao Sagara, a field survey scientist, seen through the glass the same way the instrument sees her. Phosphor green on deep olive-black, amber numerals, a red accent that appears only at the moment of lock. Every readout is instrument, not decoration. Twenty-two of Nao's twenty-four hours are drawn, two shared with a neighbouring hour rather than left blank: 00:00 Log · 01:00 Sift · 02:00 Tube · 03:00 & 11:00 Kneel · 04:00 Brush · 05:00 Survey · 06:00 Shield · 07:00 & 19:00 Pack · 08:00 Walk · 09:00 Mark · 10:00 Photo · 12:00 Drink · 13:00 Sit · 14:00 Nap · 15:00 Rub · 16:00 Stretch · 17:00 Radio · 18:00 Point · 20:00 Visor · 21:00 Scan · 22:00 Type · 23:00 Lean A power cell gauge built from ten independent segments, so the reading is always proportional to the charge — never a bar that looks fuller or emptier than the number underneath it. It runs a highlight up the column while charging and breathes red when low. A contact blip appears on the ground plane when you have an unread notification, with a ping that expands outward in three steps — only the count is read, never the content. • Numerals in Amber, Phosphor or Ice • Scanner overlay, power cell and contacts each on or off • Date on or off • Subtle parallax as you turn your wrist, and a sparse always-on mode Built with Watch Face Format for Wear OS 4 and later (Wear OS 4, 5 and 6): Google Pixel Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and newer, and other Wear OS 4+ watches. Designed for round displays. To use it after buying: open the watch face list on your watch (press and hold the current face), scroll to Field Scan and tap it. To change the numeral colour or turn a readout off, press and hold the face and tap Customise. Nao Sagara and every element of this face are original work created for it.
