Full description
Word Builders is a calm spelling and early reading game for kids. Your child sees a friendly picture, then either picks its matching word from three cards or drags letter tiles into their slots to build the whole word, one sound at a time. Every tile speaks its letter as it lands and the finished word is read aloud. There is no timer and no way to lose, so a new reader can take as long as they like. GREAT FOR AGES 3 TO 7 - Preschool and kindergarten children meeting their first words - Kids working on phonics, letter sounds and simple CVC words like cat, dog and hen - Early readers moving from picture recognition to spelling a word letter by letter - Parents and teachers who want a kids spelling game with no ads and nothing to sign up for HOW A ROUND WORKS - A picture appears above the empty slots for its word - Each pack opens gently: the first rounds ask your child to pick the matching word from three cards - After that, they drag the scattered letter tiles into their slots and build the whole word - Every letter tile speaks as it lands, so the sounds arrive in the right order - A wrong tile bounces back to the tray, so nothing is ever lost and no round is ever failed - The finished word is read aloud, then confetti and the next picture WHAT IS INSIDE - 8 themed word packs: Animals, Food, Home, Nature, Action Words, My Body, Colors and Vehicles - 104 picture words in all, every one short and clear at three to five letters - Whole word pick rounds for the youngest players, letter tile building rounds after that - Spoken letters and spoken words throughout, for phonics practice and letter sounds - 10 bright color themes that re-skin the board, every one free - Big tiles sized for small fingers, on a phone or a tablet CALM PRACTICE, NOT PRESSURE Spelling sticks best when it feels like play. Word Builders never counts down, never shows a losing screen and never asks a child to beat a score. A wrong letter tile is answered with a soft bounce back to the tray, the word is finished anyway, and the next picture is ready. A child can build the same word ten times in a row if that is what they want, and nothing in the game hurries them along. WHY PARENTS PICK IT - No ads of any kind: no banners, no interstitials, no rewarded video, no cross-promotion - No data collected, no accounts and no sign-in, so there is nothing to set up - Plays fully offline, which makes it easy on car trips, flights and in waiting rooms - No timer, no lives and no score, so nothing rushes a child or punishes a mistake - Every locked pack can be tried before you spend anything ONE-TIME UNLOCK, NO SUBSCRIPTION Free to play and genuinely complete: two full packs, 36 picture words, replayable forever. Every locked pack also carries one word that stays permanently free, so your child can try a pack before you decide anything. One Unlock Everything purchase, a single one-time buy with no subscription and no second purchase, opens all 8 packs and all 104 words for good. LANGUAGES The interface is available in 33 languages, so families around the world can play. The words themselves are English, for English spelling and letter sounds.
