QR Maker turns what you type into a QR code you can print, share or tape to a wall. It runs entirely on your phone: no account, no internet connection, and no permissions of any kind. WHAT YOU CAN MAKE • Wi-Fi — network name, password, security type and hidden networks. Guests scan it with their camera and join without you reading the password out loud. • Link — any web address. If you leave out https:// it is added for you. • Contact — name, phone, email and organisation, saved as a standard vCard. • Phone number — opens the dialler with the number filled in. • Email — address, and optionally a subject and message. • SMS — number and message text. • Plain text — anything at all, including notes and short instructions. MADE FOR HANDING OVER The code fills the screen as you type, so you can see straight away what you are about to print. When you are happy with it: • Share sends the image straight into WhatsApp, email or any other app. • Save opens the usual Android save dialog, so the file lands wherever you want it. No storage permission is involved. • Copy content puts the underlying text on the clipboard. Export at 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, and add a caption under the code — useful for a printed sign that needs to say "Guest Wi-Fi" or "Menu". STYLE THAT STILL SCANS Choose the colour of the code and the background from eight presets each, or pick your own. The app checks the contrast between them and warns you when a combination is likely to fail, including light-on-dark codes that many scanners cannot read at all. You can also set the error correction level. Higher levels keep the code readable when it gets scuffed or partly covered, at the cost of holding less data, and the quiet zone around the code can be widened for printing. HISTORY, KEPT ON YOUR PHONE The last 30 codes you make are remembered so you can open and edit them again. Wi-Fi passwords show as dots in the list. History never leaves the device, and you can switch it off completely in Settings, which also deletes what is already stored. NO DATA COLLECTION, BY DESIGN QR Maker has no internet permission. Not "we promise not to use it" — the permission is absent from the app, so it could not send your data anywhere even if it wanted to. There are no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs that collect anything. Everything you type, including Wi-Fi passwords, stays on your phone. The app is a generator only. It has no scanner and does not use the camera. Works on phones, tablets and foldables, in portrait and landscape, in light and dark themes, and follows your system colours on Android 12 and later.
