Days Until: Countdown

Days Until turns any date into a number you can see at a glance. Add an exam, a trip, a wedding, an anniversary or a deadline, and the app counts the days for you. Add the day you started something instead, and it counts the days since. Made for people with a date on their mind: students counting down to board exams, JEE, NEET or UPSC; anyone with a holiday, wedding or deadline coming up; and anyone tracking how long it has been since they joined the gym, quit smoking or moved to a new city. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Count down to any date, and count up from dates that have passed • Pin the one that matters most so it sits at the top as a large card • Let birthdays and anniversaries repeat every year, with the next date worked out for you • Show which one is coming up: your 25th birthday, your 12th anniversary • Give each event an emoji and one of eight colours, so you know what it is before you read it • Add a note to remember what still needs doing • Share a countdown as plain text in any app: "42 days until Board exams" • See the countdown broken down in weeks and days, and in years, months and days SIMPLE BY DESIGN There is no account to make and no sign-in. Open the app and add a date. Every screen works in light and dark mode, follows your phone's colours on Android 12 and later, and reads properly with TalkBack. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Days Until works completely offline. It has no internet permission at all, so nothing can leave your phone even by accident. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers and no third-party services. Your events are saved on your device and nowhere else. HOW THE DATES WORK • Everything is counted in whole days, in your phone's time zone • The numbers roll over at midnight, and are rechecked every time you open the app • A yearly event on 29 February falls on 28 February in years that do not have one • Festivals whose date moves each year, like Diwali or Eid, are best added as one-time events for the right date Days Until is small, quiet and does one thing. No notifications to dismiss, no upsells, nothing to sign up for.
