No more "who owes what" spreadsheet after a trip together. SplitJar keeps track of shared expenses for you: add a receipt and the app works out the balances, then tells you plainly who should pay whom and how much. No tables, no mental arithmetic, no awkward conversations. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a group — a trip, a flat, a party. 2. Invite friends with a code or a link. 3. Add expenses. Balances update themselves, for everyone. SPLIT IT THE WAY IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED Things are rarely split evenly — someone didn't eat, someone took the bigger room, someone only chipped in for fuel. Pick how to split each expense separately: • equally between participants • by exact amounts • by percentages • by shares (e.g. two people in one room) Rounding leftovers are distributed deterministically, so balances always add up to zero — down to the cent.

What's new

Siippify group debts — a new toggle in group settings. On: fewest possible transfers (as before). Off: debts shown directly between pairs — who owes whom, and how much. QR scanning — the "Join group" screen now has a "Scan QR code" button that fills the code in for you. Typing it manually still works.
