IR Assistant

INTRODUCTION Many products are labeled as “healthy” — but not all of them are a good choice for insulin resistance. IR Assistant is a simple, fast app that helps you understand food labels and make better decisions — without guessing, counting, or stress. This is not another calorie tracker or diet app. Instead of restrictions and judgment, IR Assistant gives you clarity and control over everyday choices. In seconds, you get one clear score and a simple explanation of why. WHAT CAN IR ASSISTANT DO? • Scan product labels (ingredients, macros, nutrition table) • Show a simple score with a clear explanation • Estimate glycemic impact to compare products more easily • Highlight potentially problematic ingredients • Explain why a product considered “healthy” may not be a good choice for insulin resistance • Provide short educational insights and quizzes • Store scan history locally on your device HOW DOES IT WORK? IR Assistant uses your phone camera to scan a barcode or food label, then analyzes the data directly on your device. Your scan history stays only on your phone. We do not collect or store data about your products, device, or behavior — your privacy stays fully under your control. PRIVACY — IT REALLY MATTERS In many free health apps, the user is the product. In IR Assistant, it’s the opposite — you are the user, not the data. That’s why: • no accounts or login required • no ads • no tracking • no profiling or data selling • no email or phone number collection • scan history stored only locally • no data sent to external servers • no location tracking For more details, see the Privacy Policy in the app. WHO IS THIS FOR? For people who: • have insulin resistance or want to better understand how food affects their body • feel confused by ingredients and nutrition labels • want calmer, more confident shopping decisions • value simplicity, privacy, and no pressure • prefer guidance over strict diet rules IMPORTANT NOTICE IR Assistant is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose conditions, and does not replace professional medical advice.
