AJA Intercom

AJA Intercom provides audio and video intercom for closed production teams, including event crews, technical teams and production staff. Talk with Push-to-Talk or enable continuous Latch transmission. Select your TALK and LISTEN channels and adjust listening levels. An active session can continue in the background; its notification shows the session state and lets you disconnect. PTXT is quick text for the moments you cannot speak. Send a one-time message to your TALK channels, or send one of five customizable preset groups (by default OK, READY, REPEAT, NO and ATTENTION, each with two sub-items). Give a message a priority - Low, Medium or High - and optionally have it read aloud on the receiving device. The app shows how many devices received your message. BUZZ alerts get a colleague's attention. PTXT and BUZZ are available according to the permissions assigned by your administrator. Optionally stream your phone camera or a compatible USB/UVC device. Available features depend on your server configuration and device. The app requires an administrator-created account and access to a compatible AJA Intercom server. It supports local EDGE/LAN servers and a configured AJA Cloud service. LAN operation without Internet requires an available local server; Cloud mode requires a connection to the service. Microphone permission enables audio transmission. Camera permission is used for video or QR scanning. Bluetooth and notification permissions support headset routing and background sessions. Remote microphone and camera activation require separate local user opt-ins, which are OFF by default. Audio buffering, recording and transcription depend on the deployment and administrator settings; these features are not available in every AJA Cloud deployment.
