Full description
Find ticks fast. Know what to do next. TickSight turns your phone camera into a real-time tick scanner. An inverted color filter makes dark ticks pop against light fur, skin, or clothing, so your eye catches them in seconds. Found one? Snap a photo to identify the species and read what to do next. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Scan and point your camera at fur, skin, or clothes. 2. Turn on Invert to flip the colors, Boost for extra contrast, and Light for the flashlight. Zoom up to 5x. 3. Capture anything suspicious and save it with notes. 4. Use Identify to get the most likely species from a photo. 5. Read the removal and prevention guide, and ask the tick chat what to watch for after a bite. WHY INVERTED COLOR WORKS Ticks are tiny and usually dark. On light fur or pale skin they hide in shadow and texture. Inverting the live camera turns dark specks bright against a dark background, so they stand out right away. The scanner runs entirely on your phone. AI TICK IDENTIFICATION Photograph a tick after removal, or on a contrasting surface. TickSight compares it against 10 common species and shows the most likely match, a confidence level, alternates, the life stage, and the features that set it apart. 10-SPECIES REFERENCE LIBRARY Blacklegged (deer) tick, lone star tick, American dog tick, brown dog tick, western blacklegged tick, Gulf Coast tick, Asian longhorned tick, Pacific Coast tick, Rocky Mountain wood tick, and the European castor bean tick. Each card covers range, seasonality, identifying features, the diseases it can carry, and removal notes, with a map of recorded sightings. TICK ACTIVITY FORECAST A daily tick activity index for where you are, built from the local temperature and humidity forecast. It asks for your approximate location, never your precise one. REMOVAL, PREVENTION, AND TICK CHAT A step-by-step removal and prevention guide aligned with CDC advice, plus a tick chat grounded in a live web search that answers questions like "I removed a tick from my dog two days ago, what should I watch for?" BUILT FOR Pet owners doing daily tick checks, parents checking kids after outdoor play and camp, hikers, hunters, and trail runners, and anyone who works outdoors in tick country. PRIVACY FIRST No account and no sign-up. The scanner runs on your device, and your saved ticks, photos, notes, and chats stay on your phone. Reset All Data erases everything. SUBSCRIPTION A subscription is required to use TickSight. Choose a weekly, monthly, or annual plan; the annual plan starts with a 3-day trial. Plans renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel in Google Play. Cancel a trial before it ends and you won't be charged. Prices are always shown before you subscribe. IMPORTANT TickSight is an educational reference and visual scanning aid. It is not a medical device or a diagnostic tool, and AI species suggestions are not a substitute for laboratory identification. After a tick bite, talk to your doctor, your veterinarian, or your local public health authority about symptoms and testing.
