WHO IS WE DON’T WASTE Our vision is that food goes to people, not landfills, and is accessible to all. We Don’t Waste is a Denver-based food recovery nonprofit founded in 2009 that recovers surplus food from the food industry and distributes it to local nonprofit partners. We also educate the community on nutrition and food waste reduction and advocate for change in the systems that create food waste and food insecurity. As a We Rescue volunteer, you can help us achieve our mission!
