Canary Challenge

Canary Challenge helps you build healthier technology habits without abandoning the devices you rely on every day. Through a guided 60-day journey, you'll develop greater awareness of your digital habits, strengthen real-world relationships, and reclaim time for the people and activities that matter most. Unlike apps that simply block websites or restrict access, Canary Challenge focuses on intentional technology use. The goal is not less technology—it is better technology habits. FEATURES • Daily guided challenges Build practical habits through short daily exercises designed to improve awareness, boundaries, presence, and connection. • Evening reflections End each day with guided reflections that help reinforce meaningful change. • Human Time tracking Compare your daily device usage against your personal baseline and see how much time you are reclaiming for life beyond the screen. • Accountability groups Join friends, family members, classrooms, organizations, or community groups to complete the challenge together. • Progress tracking Monitor streaks, challenge completion, and long-term growth. • Conversation resources Access tools designed to encourage meaningful conversations and stronger relationships. WHO IS IT FOR? Canary Challenge is designed for parents, families, educators, students, community leaders, and anyone seeking a healthier relationship with technology. OUR PHILOSOPHY Technology is a powerful tool. The goal is not to reject it, but to use it intentionally. Use the tool. Don't let it use you. Learn more at http://www.thecanaryproject.org
