Shine School Driver

Shine School Driver helps authorized school-bus drivers run the trips assigned by their school. You drive, and the app records the run from the bus's location: in normal use the only things you press are Start and, for a child who does not come, Absent. Use the app to: • See your assigned bus, route direction, and the children on each run. • Start the morning pickup or the trip home with one button. • Visit homes in whatever order suits the road. When the bus stops briefly at a home and then drives off, the children there are recorded as picked up, or as dropped off on the trip home. • Let the morning run end by itself when the bus reaches school. On the trip home, the children are counted on the bus when it leaves school. • Mark a child Absent at their home, with a few seconds to undo it. On the trip home, record a child who stayed on the bus because nobody was home. • Tap a child's name to see their details and call a parent. • Fix an attendance mistake afterwards from the trip options. • Share the bus position with authorized school staff and linked families while the active-trip screen is open. • Choose English, Arabic, or Kurdish. Location is collected only after you start or resume an assigned trip and only while Shine School Driver is visible in the foreground. Collection pauses when you lock the phone or open another app, and stops when the trip ends. The app does not request all-the-time background location. Automatic attendance and school arrival use that same location, so nothing is recorded while collection is paused; your school can correct attendance and mark the bus arrived from its website. Shine School Driver requires an account and route assignment created by your school. Location and trip updates depend on device settings and network connectivity.
